Wolfenstein: The New Order - 7,3GB Day One Patch

Wolfenstein: The New Order is set to release soon on current generation and previous generation consoles along with the PC. As it is usual with most of these releases, Wolfenstein: The New Order is also going to get a Day 1 patch. It appears that the Patch for the PS4 and Xbox One version is quite a hefty download.
According to blogger Mark DeSanto, Wolfenstein: The New Order has a Day One patch weighting in at about 5 GB on the PS4. Another user, who has access to the Xbox One version of the game, confirmed the patch size for the Xbox One version, stating it is 7.3 GB.

This is quite a huge download for a Day 1 patch, and definitely sheds a new light on all these patches and updates, that we get today, and how they are increasing in size everyday.
Bethesda have also revealed the game size for all the platforms. According to them, the PS4 and Xbox One version will require 47 GB, while the PC version will require about 50 GB of hard disk space. The PS3 and Xbox 360 version also require about 8 GB of hard disk space each, with the PSN download for the PS3 version weighting in at about 17 GB.

Da das Spiel am Montag erscheint und ich es erst am Samstag spielen kann wird das wohl nicht weiter stören.
Wahrscheinlich ist das Spiel nach dem patch sogar noch größer. Villeicht sogar über 50GB und da soll Microsoft jetzt nochmal sagen das wir keine externen Festplatten brauchen.

irgend wann hört es ja mal auf. ich finde das schon etwas zu krass. MS meint wohl alle würden schon am LWL hängen.

Na herrlich... Bekommt man das Spiel und kann es erst am nächsten Tag zocken, selbst bei DSL 16k dauert das ne ganze Weile, langsam übertreiben die es mit ihren Patches...

Wenn man jetzt mal bedenkt das der Patch die Größe eines Xbox 360 Spieles hat, frage ich mich ersthaft was da drin sein soll?

Ich habe immerhin eine 100.000er Leitung aber ich habe nicht den Eindruck das die komplett genutzt Wird. Wenn ich auf dem PC was lade geht das sehr viel schneller.
Das ist auch eine weitere Sache die echt fehlt auf der One. Eine Anzeige der Download Geschwindigkeit.

PS: vergebt doch bitte vernünftige Titel wie soll denn jemand der so etwas wissen will den Beitrag finden wenn der Titel "Heftig alter Heftig" heißt?

Das bezweifel ich. Wer eine News oder Beitrag schreiben will nutzt idealerweise vorher die SuFu. Wenn du keine Tags mit angegeben hast, wird er zu dem Thema nichts finden und erstellt einen zweiten Thread.

Das ist ja nichts. Dr3 hatte mal einen patch von 12 GB. Ist zwar kein day one. Aber ist ein patch.
